SkinCeuticals has launched a line of ‘cosmeceutical cleansers.’

The new range includes a few existing products that were reformulated, as well as two new products — Replenishing Cleanser and Soothing Cleanser. The line also has new packaging.

SkinCeuticals’ cosmeceutical cleansers are formulated and tested to be an effective first step, priming the skin before an at-home cosmeceutical regimen. The brand also suggests using them after in-office dermatology procedures.

The brand’s Soothing Cleanser is specifically formulated for cleansing post-procedure, compromised, and sensitive skin, when products with harsh surfactants need to be avoided. Comprised of 23% key ingredients, this cosmeceutical cleansing foam gently removes impurities from skin with an amino acid surfactant. A botanical blend soothes and comforts skin while sorbitol and glycerin help the skin retain moisture.

The Packaging

White bottles and tubes are combined with black pumps and caps. Simply Clean a gel cleanser, and the foaming Purifying Cleanser are both in plastic bottles that have a translucent blue hue.

A foaming pump that delivers a dense foam was chosen for the soap-free Soothing Cleanser.

The entire line is non-comedogenic, free of parabens, synthetic fragrance and dyes. They are available online, and at select physician offices nationwide.
